Sound the Alarm! Gather the People!
The Alarm is being sounded!
We have never experienced anything like we are experiencing now. It is un-precedented. The Watchmen on the wall are sounding the alarm. There are many watchmen crying out for our nation to turn from its wicked ways. It is time to gather the people and sanctify the congregation, assemble the aged, gather the children, even those nursing at the breast, let the bridegroom leave his room and the bride her chamber. (Joel 2:15-16)
How many more signs from heaven do you need to see?
The church, the body of Christ is standing at a critical and dangerous hour.
We, the people must return to God in order to turn the tide of our nation. We must begin to cry out for revival but before revival can come repentance must come first. It is time to seek the Lord! It is time to break up our fallow ground.
Fallow ground is un-usable, and fallow ground is un-used. Things in our heart that are allowed to lie fallow soon became overgrown with thorns and weeds. Break off all your evil habits; clear your hearts of weeds, in order that they may be prepared for the seed of righteousness.
The Church, the body of believers in the earth, must make this return to the Lord before our nation will turn back to God. We must all P R A Y as never before for the compromised, lukewarm church to repent and return to God so we can see this nation healed. Time to stand up and be counted in this great army of the Lord! Who is on the Lord's side!
2 Chronicles 7:14 14 says, "If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land."

The Church (body of believers) is at a Crossroad!

Related to the spiritual definition "it is the complete final destruction of the world, as described in the book of Revelation. Bear with me and let me paint a picture of what was happening in Zechariah's day.
The remnant of God's people had returned from Babylonian captivity and Zechariah was a prophet who ministered to this remnant. The remnant was back in Jerusalem but were still under the Babylonian control.
In Jerusalem they were working to rebuild the city and the temple. It was a time of no hope, deep depression; a time in which they had a tendency to see the worst aspect of things or they believed that the worst would happen; they had a lack of hope or confidence in the future.
God sends Zechariah in the middle of all of this hopelessness and despair to give them an important Word from the Lord." What was the Word?
Thus says the Lord[Jehovah] of hosts: Return to me, says the LORD of hosts, and I will return to you, says the LORD of hosts." (Zechariah 1:2-3 RSV)
In the middle of chaos and confusion; in the middle of this Coronavirus which is affecting the nations of the world and even more historically the entity we called "the Church", God is speaking a Word to the Body of Believers!
RETURN TO ME! RETURN TO ME! Return to me from you discouragement, your complacency, your depression! Return to me from your fear, your anxieties, your hopelessness! Return to me from your melancholy, your ingratitude, your complaining, your envy, jealousy, and strife. RETURN TO ME NOW SAYS THE LORD GOD OF HOSTS!
I believe the Church is at a crossroads and what we do next, how we handle what is happening in the "Now" is critically important to the body of Christ. We have a choice to arise as the body of Believers, serving, living our lives as unto the Lord.
What else is God saying in this pandemic called Coronavirus?
Most of you know that I love word definitions. So of course, I researched the word Corona.
Corona defined means "a crown." In anatomy, it is "a part of the body resembling or likened to a crown."
It is so named because of the crown-like arrangement of proteins on the virus when viewed under a microscope.
Here is the Word of the Lord for every born again believer!
"We Must Exchange OUR Crown of Life
(our faults, our failures, our way of living)
for HIS Crown of Life!
All believer are being "viewed under the microscope" by our heavenly Father to see if we are wearing our Crown! So make sure you are not only wearing your CROWN but that it is SHINING BRIGHTLY for our KING JESUS! "Choose you this day whom you will serve...….as for me and my house we will serve the Lord. Joshua 24:15
Prayer
Heavenly Father! Today I am returning to you! The things of this world were bright and shiny to me and I followed its path. Today is the day that my life turns from the allure of the things in this world and I RETURN TO YOU! Forgive me for all of my sins, known and unknown and restore unto me the joy of my Salavation, which is not only being saved from darkness, but totally complete healing and deliverance. Restore and place on my head your CROWN of Life in Jesus' name. Amen!
Loving Jesus,

Why Christians Should NOT PANIC over the Coroniavirus!
This is not the first time the world has been hit with a pandemic (pestilence; see yesterday's post "Is the Coroniavirus in the Bible?")
It won't be the last time either. The Black Death was an epidemic in Europe between 1347 and 1400. It killed between 75 and 200 million people. In 1918 the Spanish flu killed an estimated 50 million people which was barely over 100 yrs. ago. Then in 2009 the same flu killed over 200,000 people. It has yet to be determined how many people the coroniavirus will kill in 2020.
Let me make a pretty strong statement today:
I do not believe that as Believers in the Kingdom of God we can stick our head in the sand and pretend that the coroniavirus is not here.
It cannot be ignored! We cannot be a "silent church" by just saying we are praying about it! We must talk about it and seek God for answers to provide support and comfort to those who find themselves afflicted and affected.
The point is that as long as we live IN the World there will be suffering, disease, death, and sorrow. Sin brought this polluted world in which we are living. (Genesis 1-2 Adam & Eve) Yes, I know! You don’t like that but it is true.
We must remember that we are NOT OF this world. Our true home is not in this sinful world of suffering, disease, death, and sorrow. ( I should be hearing an Amen) The Bible says in Philippians 3:20
"For our citizenship is in heaven, from which also we eagerly wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ;"
One day we will go there to live forever. But in the meantime, we are living in a corrupt, polluted world. Jesus did NOT say that we would never have pain or sorrow, or be exposed to sin, sickness, and disease. (Read below)
James 5:14 Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord.
1 Timothy 5:23 (No longer drink only water, but use a little wine for the sake of your stomach and your frequent ailments.)
Philippians 2:27 Indeed he was ill, near to death. But God had mercy on him, and not only on him but on me also, lest I should have sorrow upon sorrow.
The entire bible is full of people who were in pain, sickness, and suffering. Good people, yes even believers.
As we read through the Old & New Testaments we see that there was a whole lot of stuff happening to good people. James, one of the apostles of Jesus said it like this in his book James 1:2-3: "Count it all joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know the testing of your faith produces perservance."

We will face unpleasant things in this life. I've heard the old adage that "Bad things happen to good people." This is so true in many regards. But the question is still: Why Christians Should Not Panic! Read below for the answers.
John 14:14 "If you ask me anything in my Name, I will do it."
1 Peter 2:24 ".....by His wounds You have been HEALED!
Matthew 8:17 ".....He took our illnesses and bore our diseases"
Acts 10:38 "How God anointed Jesus of Nazarus with the Holy Spirit and with Power. He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him."
God is With Us and God is For Us!
I leave you with this final answer to the question:
The Lord Himself goes before You and will be with You;
He will NEVER leave YOU nor forsake YOU.
Do not be afraid; Do not be discouraged
Deuteronomy 31:18
Have no fear!
